Ashleigh Sports & Wellness Clinic was established in September 2013 by Jennifer Nason. Jennifer has studied and practised in the area of sports and physical therapy for over twelve years.
At the Clinic, Jennifer assesses patients that present with acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain and dysfunctions. She has a particular expertise in treating a range of sporting injuries and advising on techniques for injury prevention including the rehabilitation of fractures, breaks and sprains. She also advises on exercise techniques that provide specific motor learning sequences to restore functional movement/capacity to reduce the risk of re-injury.
After a client’s initial consultation an individual treatment plan will be agreed drawing upon a variety of techniques that Jennifer is qualified in, and has experience of practicing, including Neuromuscular techniques, Deep Tissue Massage, Dry Needling and/or KinesioTex Taping. Sometimes a more holistic approach might be required and traditional therapies can be complemented with relaxation treatments such as Swedish Massage. Contact us for more information.
Jennifer is a Neuromuscular, Physical and Sports Massage Therapist, a Dry Needling Practitioner and works on a daily basis with KinesioTex Taping. Having qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation, she went on to study and qualify as a Neuromuscular Physical Therapist in 2012. Jennifer has a strong commitment to life-long learning, believing it is essential to continue to keep up-to-date with new treatment methods, and adapt her treatments accordingly.
